Requests, each with the time left to answer

Each request shows the piece, the dates, the renter, what you'll earn and how long you have left.

Answer a request

You have 2 days to answer, or until the rental starts if that comes first. If time runs out, the request expires and the renter isn't charged.

Tap a request to open Respond to request. It shows the dates, your payout, and whether you post it or they collect it. Choose Accept or Decline, add a Note to renter (optional) if you like, and confirm.

  • Accept charges the renter's card. Their card is checked when they ask, so the money is there. We block the dates for you.
  • Decline and the renter isn't charged.

If other requests overlap the same dates, the sheet says so. Once you accept one, the rest are declined automatically.

Have a look at the renter's profile before you accept. Renters who have verified their ID show it there. The booking also says ID verified or Hasn't verified their ID yet.

To accept several at once, press Select to accept, tick the requests and press Accept.

Post it

Once accepted, the booking moves to Ready to ship. Post it so it arrives by the start date.

  1. Pack the prepaid return satchel in with the piece. It's how the renter posts it back. Without one, the renter's return postage can be reimbursed and taken from your payout.
  2. Press Post item. Choose the carrier, add the tracking link or number, and the return satchel's tracking if you have it.
  3. Press Mark as shipped.

The renter usually confirms once it arrives. If you know it's there, Confirm it arrived does it for them.

Pickup instead

If the renter collects, message them to agree a time. Give them a prepaid return satchel if they're posting it back. When they have it, press I've handed it over. They see your full address once you accept.

When it's back

Press Mark as received once the piece is back with you. Check it over straight away. If something's wrong, raise it through the booking within 2 days, with photos. See Damage and disputes.

If it's all good, close the booking. All good with the item? asks you to confirm, and closing out releases your payout straight away.
