Who can use Ourfit
Anyone 18 or over in Australia can rent. Lending opens by request, and lenders need an Australian bank account for payouts. One account is one person.
Updated 6 October 2026
Ourfit is live in Australia. You need to be 18 or over, and to agree to the Terms when you sign up.
Who can rent
Anyone 18 or over in Australia. You rent with a credit or debit card, and you give your real name, because it's shared with the lender when you book. Verifying your identity is optional for renters. See Verify your identity.
Who can lend
Anyone 18 or over in Australia can add pieces to their wardrobe. Lending opens by request while we launch, and your pieces go live once you're accepted and set up. See Become a lender.
To lend you need:
- An Australian bank account, connected through Stripe, for your payouts.
- To verify your identity.
- A lending address, where pieces are posted from and returned to.
You can lend from anywhere in Australia. Express Post pieces are posted to renters wherever they are, and offering pickup is up to you.
Rental businesses lend on Ourfit too, so some of the wardrobes you'll see belong to them.
Where Ourfit works
Renting and lending are open in Australia. Express Post goes anywhere in Australia. Pickup depends on where the lender is, and lenders show their suburb on their profile.
You can sign up from some other countries too. Your account lets you look around, and renting and lending stay closed until Ourfit is live where you are. We'll text you when it opens.
One account, one person
An account belongs to one person. Bookings, payouts and identity checks are all tied to whoever the account says it is, so sharing an account breaks the Terms and can cost you the account.
