How dress rental works in Australia
Last updated 2 November 2026
You pick a piece and a set of dates, book it, collect it or have it posted, wear it, and send it back. On Ourfit a rental is 4 or 8 days, each lender sets their own price, and there is no membership or subscription.
Lenders are real people with their own wardrobes and rental businesses, listed in the same place.
Find a piece and pick dates
Browse by occasion, city or brand, or search for a specific piece. Each listing shows the size, the brand, the price for 4 and for 8 days, and how it is delivered. Each piece is one physical item, so only the dates still open can be booked.

See allPickup, Australia Post or courier
Delivery is in-person pickup, Australia Post, or courier where the lender offers it. Pickup means you see the piece before the event. Posting means you can rent from another suburb or another city. Allow for postage time when you choose dates.
Bond, damage and cost
There is no cash bond. A card is held on file, and any damage charge is capped at the item's retail price. A claim needs photos. Prices are in Australian dollars.
Identity and reviews
Identity checks are run by Stripe, and Ourfit never stores ID documents. After the rental, both sides leave a review. Reviews are double-blind: neither is shown until both are in.
